Located in NE Texas near Greenville, 30 miles east of Dallas. We do private appaloosa rescue and provide sanctuary for a limited number of appys. We are also on the hurricane evacuation list of layovers and refuge for the TAHC.

Morning Glory Ranch (formerly Rivendell Farms) has been in the business of producing champion Appaloosas since 1985. We are proud to have owned silver medallion winner Kendalls Return, twice Reserve National Champion She's Too Marvelous, Reserve National Champion Blazin Hunter, as well as World Champion sire Catch Some Jazz, Marvelous Image, and 33 year old ApSHA Driving Champion Frosted Cherokee Rose.


We do private Appaloosa rescue and sanctuary work. If you have an Appaloosa horse or a POA pony that you can no longer care for in the north or east Texas area please feel free to contact us.
